Research Interests

  • Expression of key immune changes under immune suppressed conditions such as microgravity and cancer
  • Development of three-dimensional human tissue engineering models using no scaffolds.
  • Signaling mechanisms involving the gut-brain axis in inflammation, nano-formulation, nanotechnology and mathematical radiation tissue modeling of heavy ion effects.
